Meal Plans WB Mon 26 August

Welcome to another week ! Hope everyone is enjoying the long bank holiday weekend. I couldn't find a thread for next week so if there is one pls merge....

Heres mine from tomorrow

Monday
Left over chicken..... with something haven't decided what yet and have run out of inspiration

In no particular order:

chilli shepherds pie with sweet potato cheesy mash
Lasagne, garlic bread
Steak Pie, chips, mushy peas and gravy
Hot and spicy pork steaks, potato wedges and salad
Ribs and wings, wedges, corn on the cob

Sunday - minted lamb chops,mash, veg & gravy

    Monday - Mushroom Lasagne (hm gluten free lasagne sheets)
    Tuesday - Roaring 20s Party! (See this thread)
    Wednesday - Frozen Bean Bakes & HM Chunky Chips
    Thursday - Baked beetroot risotto http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/12278/creamy-beetroot-risotto (sub low fat yoghurt instead of sour cream)
    Friday - Biryani http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1397/spiced-vegetable-biryani (use frozen mixed veg)
    Saturday - Vegetable Tagine with Gluten Free Couscous
    Sunday - Veggie Roast Dinner
    October Grocery Challenge: £20.65/£150

    Tuesday. Spag bol
    Wednesday. Minty lamb kebabs with rice & peas
    Thursday. Pork & apple casserole with mash & veg.
    Friday. Chessey pasta bake
    Saturday, Chicken dopiaza.

    Thanks for starting us off, Skint. I forgot to post my plan last week - not that it mattered in the end as I didn't stick to it anyway. :o

    Saturday - chilli con carne-stuffed squash
    Sunday - Spanish chicken bake (from the Hairy Dieters book)
    Monday - out for dinner with my DPs
    Tuesday - Chinese pork noodle stirfry
    Wednesday - squash, chorizo and cannelini bean stew
    Thursday - bean burger with salad
    Back after a very long break!

    Thanks for starting us off this week Skint.

    My plan for the week is as follows,

    Saturday - Out for Chinese then to the races and a concert

    Sunday - Sausage, Veg and Pasta Soup

    Monday - Steak and Ribs with Potatoes and Salad

    Tuesday - Chicken Curry, Rice and Naan Bread

    Wednesday - Pasta Bolognaise

    Thursday - Chicken Chowmein

    Friday - Burger and Chips

    Have baked some carrot and chocolate muffins for treats.
    For lunches made Carrot Soup and have roasted a chicken and a small pork loin for sandwiches or wraps for the week.
  • My plan this week in no particular order;

    Spag Bol
    Cottage Pie/ chilli
    Corned Beef Hash
    Chicken Wraps
    Sausage Casserole
    Tuna & Pasta
    Chicken something...

    Sandwiches/soups for lunches
    Toast/cereal/pancakes for breakfasts

    My meal plan this week is something along these lines ...

    [STRIKE]Jamaican sweet potato curry[/STRIKE]

    Mexican spiced (Quorn) mince with spanish omelette

    [STRIKE]Vegetable Masaman curry (paste needs using up) [/STRIKE]

    Sweet chilli and prawn linguine

    [STRIKE]Sausage[/STRIKE], rosti and [STRIKE]veg[/STRIKE]DDS will have this with mini waffles.I will now have with [STRIKE]pesto and pasta[/STRIKE] meal at bottom

    LMc Tuscan fillets with [STRIKE]actifry chips [/STRIKE]and corn on the cob
    Last night [STRIKE]LMC Burger actifry chips and peas[/STRIKE], so very similar

    Roasted courgette, red onion, pepper and pasta in pesto

    Monday : chicken casserole, mashed potatoes and veg

    Tuesday : macaroni, hm chips

    Wednesday : mince round, chips and veg

    Thursday : omolette, veg

    Friday : pizza and garlic bread

    The only things I will need to buy this week is for Friday meal.

    Hi everyone, really need to meal plan this week! Need to stretch the last tenner of the food budget this week.

    Monday - Baguette Sandwiches (Chicken/Salmon, Crispy Smoked Bacon, Lettuce, Homegrown Tomatoes, Red Onion, Avocado) Corn on the Cob

    Tuesday - Turkey Chilli, Rice, Corn on the Cob

    Wednesday - Stuffed Pasta, Tomato Sauce, Cheese, Salad

    Thursday - Jacket Potatoes, LO Chilli? or Beans and Cheese and Salad

    Friday - Homemade Pizza

    Saturday - Unsure...

    Sunday - Unsure...

    Will be making some Minestrone soup for easy lunches/snacks, roasting a sad looking aubergine as an easy side dish. I will be eating lunch mostly at work(yay free food!) and OH will have either tuna or chicken mayo sandwiches/wraps. He also has some Wotsits to have with lunch.

    So I'll need to buy...
    - Stuffed Pasta
    - Turkey Mince
    - Baguette
    - Lettuce
    - Tuna
