Hmmm...I sponsored my friend today for a 50mile cycle ride tomorrow - she's actually really scared about it and it was for a good cause. Now does that count as spendy or not?
Been busy on the internet this evening working out a few xmas presents - making a couple (glutton for punishment that I am) but got one idea from NOTHS.com - £30 plus p&p  Sure I can come in between £15 - £20 on that and it will be something she can keep and use again each year.
usually do food type gifts for some family - anyone know the best place for British spelt pasta? preferably tricolore but not essential that it is (just thought it would be festive)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Depends on your rules I guess, mine include a £2 week incidentals which I use for collections at work, sponsoring, emergency chocolate or the local weekly news if I have any left.....but I guess a 50 miler would deserve a more substantial donation
It's a worthy cause to lose an NSD for, on the grounds of friendship as much as charity.....hope it goes ok for her, I did a similar one earlier in the year, I enjoyed it, but it did hurt :rotfl:
