  • I haven't posted for a while because it's been super busy at work again and had a couple of work related social events.

I have had a NSD today so am up to 5 and we are almost half way through the month.

I've also had more work related expenses. Sigh....... almost £900 now. My spending is starting to feel out of control, even though it's not on me. I have decided to have a quiet word with my bosses next week to see if there is some kind of alternative than me keep whacking them on my c/c. I'm accumulating lots of lovely points but I'd rather forego them in favour of more control.

Tomorrow will be a spend day again but next week is a fairly quiet week compared to recently so am hoping to nab a few next week.

Hope everyone is well. Am off to read back on what I've missed, quite a few pages it would seem! :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

PS - I am also having problems updating my signature.

  • Good Evening Folks,

I have just discovered that Strictly isn't on tonight:mad:. Very annoying and I will just have to throw myself into my wine to get over the annoyance:D
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!
  • Massive spendy day today as decided to get all known planned spends done at once - car insurance, home insurance, tax disk for car and ferry to Holland for upcoming Amsterdam marathon. Looking at getting hotel booking done and dusted too before midnight tonight.

Left me feeling so organised and controlled - an unexpected unintended consequence of this challenge.:j
    Still on nsd 7
    January GC 299/300
    February GC 295/270
March GC 92/243 then lost the plot and stopped recording for two months and went way over
May GC 372/250 still looking for the plot
    June GC 118/250
  • I forgot to ask a (very cheeky) question in my previous post.

When I was at S*insbury's the other day, I received a £15 voucher off your first online grocery shop. As I have had two previous home deliveries is there a way around this so I can use it? ;):o I also have a free delivery voucher although that's on a minimum spend I think.

My parents have suggested I have my delivery sent there (they don't use home delivery) but my Nectar card would surely show that I have previously had home delivery? Does anyone have any experience? I know it's cheating but I could do with saving some money for a change.

Thought this challenge would be easy but I have come to a grinding halt. Hopefully this week I will reign the spending in and start collecting NSD days. Still got 16 days left this month thank goodness.x
