Sorry I'm a bit late joining in - had a manic bank holiday at work!! On the plus side, earned 15hours overtime over the weekend - so that'll boost the savings next month!!
Very chuffed to report a GREEN week last week - £0/£0 - feels like a big achievement having avoided the temptation for takeaways etc during long shifts at work! But I stuck to my guns and happy with the result!
So, just having a think about budget for this week... Sun and Mon were NSD as I pretty much did work, sleep, work! I need to get my hair cut this week but I think that's about it for personal spends... So, my budget this week will be £20 please ETO!!
Total so far: £0 / £20
Have a fantastic week money-savers!! Lots of love xxx
ShootForTheMoon - you were purple last week.as you had a zero spend week. Well done. I've never achieved that, and don't see it happening anytime soon.
Welcome back to those of you that have been AWOL.
Sun - £3.45 coffee and crisps.
Mon - NSD (kind of)
Tues - £7.77 2 x birthday cards (one for October) and a wedding card for end of sept. also bought small bag of classic thorntons chocs, when I opened them they had melted together. I was not happy. That'll teach me for buying them in the first place.
Total so far
£11.22 / £25SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Managed to spend £24.76 today....most was groceries but, as I was spending anyway, I spent £3.50 on a few wee beers and 70p on crisps from machine at work  This is the reason I need to properly decide what to count on this challenge and what to count as spendy days....SPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0

I know the feeling MissE001, I took my purse into work yesterday, (silly girl I know) and they had reduced the dishwasher tablets from £5.50 to £1.38 and I could not resist as they where on my shopping list for next week...... and I got 4 packs....
So after my spends of £7.49 I have £2.51 to last me till tomorrow...Sell £750.00

NSD! hurrah!
Been trying to contemplate how to complete the weekly savings challenge - going to have to cut back a bit more after january to be able to do it properly. Also I've been trying to predict the rough cost of my car insurance next year - but i don't know how to work it out ... am trying to save the same amount as it cost last year, anyway ...0
