Yep will also need to cover head for ceremony. Got tonnes of places to look nearby (in East London) and work near Petticoat Lane, Brick Lane, etc!

Will let you know what I choose our give a shortlist. Might even put up a pic later if feeling brave lol

Knew I could count on you lot. Glanced at those websites - brilliant!

    Thanks X

I got mine in Ilford Lane, Ilford, there are dozens of shops there and loads of shops selling the bangles, bindis, shoes, hair slides and all the other spangly accessories.

Try to avoid the following colour combination: red, cream/white and gold as these are the traditional colours a bride may wear.
    I have a simple philosophy:
Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.

Thanks, that's where my friend said she'd take me. Can get a bus to Ilford from home so will try and fit it in one weekend. Wedding is 1st Sat in Oct. Found a lovely one online from one of the links above but would prefer to try it on if possible. Ta for colour advice, friend said to avoid black and white but I'll definitely avoid red too now. Thinking of dying hair red again so green would look nice I think

Good choice, there's loads of shops to choose from, some more expensive than others. Don't forget to haggle!
