How to Watch Old TV Series on Android

Hello,
I have enjoyed watching a few old TV programmes on You Tube recently but they have were removed a little while ago.
To avoid these problems in the future, I would like an app of some kind that allows me to watch this kind of thing on my Android tablet.
It doesnt have to be free, Im happy to pay for a decent service.
Im having trouble finding something that is 1) what I want and 2) searchable for the things I like prior to buying.
Is there anyone who can suggest such an App with which I can watch older TV series and dramas, please?

No its not the app or You Tube but the fact that the uploading / viewing have broken copy-rite on these TV shows .In many cases BBC ITV etc or the rights holder have asked for the unlawful content to be removed from YouTube .
Their are sites so i am told that upload TV shows etc and Google should find them .
Only Android app i have seen is one that has very very old 1930/40 films .
But someone on MSE may know of a service that pays copy-rite and allows users to watch like Netflix or LoveFilm .

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Yes, I am aware that it is copyright that has been broken and that is why the videos are not on Youtube anymore.
Thats why I am looking for a legitimate service where I can continue to watch older dramas and series of UK TV.
I have search google for a few days and am taken to so many sites that say they have 100's of films and tv programmes to watch but a lot of them ask for bank details prior to searching.
They all seem a bit suspect and reviews arent promising.
Does anyone know if Netflix is the right thing Im looking for?0 -
Give Netflix a try, you can get a months free trial so see if it has the type of content your're looking for before paying any money.0

Whilst not specifically what your asking for I use this as well as Sky Go. Gives you most Freeview channels...

There is also an App for it but I un-installed mine as every time you change channel your subjected to a 30 second advert.0
