Most such documents are public documents so it may be you can see them for free at the Council offices. Not sure. YOU could try Googling the name of the Retail Park and looking for old local newpaper articles, if any, from when it opened or was given consent to build a car park. They usually say what the parking arrangements are when the place is first allowed to be built.

TBH that's just delaying you getting this cancelled. COMPLAIN THIS WEEK ANYWAY!!!!

I'm on to it! Soft appeal gone to PE today and I'm drafting for supermarket customer services today to be sent tomorrow :) just thinking of the council docs as extra ammo for POPLA. Thanks :)
  • Fab news! Sent an indignant email to Aldi Customer services. Got a reply from them saying someone from regional management would be in touch. Then got a call from them today asking me to go into the store and request a printed copy of my receipt from their computer system. Called back with the number on my receipt and 'bingo' cancelled! Thanks for all your advice folks....I'm very relieved I don't have to bother fighting PE at POPLA! A small part of me was looking forward to it though...but I'm not complaining! :)

Well done OP, glad to have been part of the 'advice team' helping with your case.

    Onwards and upwards :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
