Judging by the mark on the rear seats, I bet that shifts. ;)

Sign it was used as a mobile living room come trash can, you'd probably find the contents of the household bin under the rear seats :rotfl:

Thanks for all the responses to my question we rang company again and they said there was a scratch on drivers side door so had to consider price for repairing it, (taking it down to bare door then priming re-painting and labour costs, I thought considering the price quoted to repair the crash damage was £4000 a small scratch was rather insignificant but heyho they make the rules and pay out the money . They said that's why they had to reduce amount by £255. It seems like we just have to accept it and now begins the hassle of finding another car oh the joy !!!!!

Ask for details of the scratch and then get a quote from a cheap repair company....don't just accept everything they say.

To put it simple, they are taking the urine.

Don't stand for it as they are trying to have you over.

4K would pay for the whole side being hit by a car.

Get your own independent assessor in. Use the AA if need be, as a local one may be in their pocket.

As much as it pains me to admit, We owned the local assessors and £500 cash had them sign what was put in front of them.

Based on that logic, if there was a dozen small marts or scratches you'd not be getting anything for it. The exterior condition should be factored in when assessing its value - but I wonder consider it fair to base the value on that
