    I plop :)

My hairdresser suggested using a tiny bit of hair conditioner after washing and before plopping, distributed through the hair with the fingers, I usually do it before I get out of the shower so I can rinse my hands off.

Top tip, only touch hair where absolutely necessary, eg to roughly define a parting. So no fiddling!!

Damp weather still gets a bit of a frizz going though!

Ooh I'm going to try this. I have type 2B wavy hair, which is somewhat random, so hopefully this technique will give a more uniform wave structure.

Someone on here also converted me to Co-washing, which was a bit weird at first but now I've found a good product to use, I much prefer it!

Come on ladies, please tell, what is plopping???

I have straight hair but my daughter has wavy/curly hair and we're always looking for ways to improve her curls.

Has anyone tried it with short hair? I have naturally wavy/ kinky hair that's currently cut into a graduated bob. it does wave on its own (if I dont torture it with straighteners) but I get the associated frizz....

You know you're going to have to provide a plopping link for the clueless amongst us, don't you?

    Hear hear!

As one who has recently ditched the GHDs as the result of a recent thread, I'm now struggling to keep my wavy/frizzy hair under control and failing miserably :o

I thought the thread was about pooing as well! Could you enlighten us please?

I'd never heard of this so had to google! Sounds great.

Can you do this if you have a fringe? Or can I just style my fringe afterwards. My fringe tends to curl up at the sides into little horns so really needs styled a little. At the moment it is the only part of my hair I blow dry.
