Just back from local T to do the BNI - just a small store and was only 3 pizzas so only bought 1 lot plus fillers including a iced coffee to use with the coupon.
OMG I had 5 staff ranting at me telling me they didn't accept these as they were photocopies, I replied it wasn't and I had used one in the store the previous day. Various team leaders came over and started shouting at me. I kept repeating that it wasn't a photocopy and that they need to learn T's policy in accepting coupons.
They wouldn't even try to scan it but eventually very reluctantly did, so took my shopping down to just over £7. They all stayed and watched while I presented a TPP for £5.20, they were not impressed, especially when I got another PP for just over £5 :j

I had a non scan £1 spit today, sa mentioned going to cs for a £1 refund, so asked why I should que up twice.
So she called over a manager, who said the sa's arn't allowed to manual over ride, the sa then proceeded to show the manager how to do it :rotfl:Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Evening guys!
Just spotted this....Persil Small & Mighty Bio 40 wash , £10 T's , £6 in S and A.
Nice for a PP with the curries or to get up to a conditional spend but the main reason for buying would be to claim the money back :money:

Must buy before the 15th Sept.
I've got a £3 off £20 till spit that needs using before Sunday... I wonder what to get?

Evening all
For some reason I just remembered tonight that my TCB account was upgraded on a free trial - just checked my account and the free trial ended yesterday
Ok it's only £5 a year but I didn't want it - I think I might have accepted it by accident at the time- I was able to downgrade it though and no charge has applied.
I don't know if TCB rolled this out to everyone on the same date, so I thought I'd post it in case it helps anyone else if they want to cancel.

Evening everyone,
Hope everyone is good. Been busy with rl this week, between work, picking up my sisiter from the airport, taking her to sign on today, I've not managed to do much shopping.
However did squeeze in a small wine shop. Just wanted to say that the Asti compares well againts Asda. £7.99 vs £6.
Having a mini dilema and could do with the Elites views.
I've been wanting to go to Tokyo for the past 2 years, I've finally got the money together to book a trip in February/March. Now I've suddenly seemed to have lost interest. I'm basing it down to nerves about it being my first solo trip, but now I'm not sure whether to book the flight or wait.
Thinking I should book it and hope the nerves go away a bit.
Thanks
I would say do it.
I love travelling alone. Just make sure you stay safe.
Book flight now then you can have fun looking at hotels and trips.
I always book more than one hotel and usually treat myself to the more expensive one for last 3 nights.
My mum has been there and she loved it. The culture, the food, the temples.
Even disney if you want lol
It will be quite cold and wet in feb/march time.
