DS2 nearly burned my house down!
He'd turned all the dials on on the electric oven (which we keep turned off at the wall), the funny thing is I'd seen him do it but it hadn't registered in my poor tired brain.
When DH turned the oven on for dinner he didn't notice all the hob dials were turned on and on top of our oven is a big wooden chopping board/cover for the hob.
Wondered what the smell was, it's really badly scorched and need to buy a new one now :(got it from Ikea a few years ago so they probably don't sell them anymore :(
I'm so glad DD went in the kitchen when she did as she saw the smoke and shouted us straight away before something worse could have happened

    Evening all.
Dipdap, if it's the one with a lip on the edge, then Ikea still sell them, cos DS1 bought one the other day.

    Bit mad with OH tonight
First of all he comes home with, wait for it, 18 bottles of wine that he bought off his mate £60.00 making it £3.33333333 per bottle :mad::mad::mad: I bet his mate shops at T's, saying that just looked at the bottles and I have never heard of them:eek:
I could open my own wine shop at this rate ,there is a t delivery coming tomorrow with another 6 bottles plus what I pick up tonight
I'm a bit mad because he never shops or buys anything and he is the only one in our house that drinks wine and he only drinks maybe half to a full bottle a week
Then I said to him free cinema, he says no, cost to much getting there and back, may as well stick to the local cinema, so three oxford codes going into the recycle bin for anyone

    Sorry rant over
I know he's only trying to help , at least I can use some for xmas presents

agreed, and go tomorrow, and use the free popcorn voucher on 10ways. I used 2 at once for me and dw. that will offset the travel costs
  • No asda's up our way allow Dr Oetkar Pizza vouchers. What a palava? They did about a month ago, but just stopped accepting them a couple of weeks ago.

When shopping I bet we could recognise each other by the smell of
