I just picked up a reduced cheesecake in co-op and while I was waiting, popped it onto an empty shelf to check if I had any useable vouchers.

Some woman behind me who had gone behind me and scooped up everything in the reduced section came along and went to hijack my cheesecake

    Don't think so love :rotfl:

DD goes back on the 5th. DS2 is the 9th  They're having inset days right at the start of term

Ive waited for weeks for written permission from DS2 school for him to wear Velcro fastening shoes. They're not allowed but he can't do laces or slip ons. Finally had the letter waiting for me when I got back from my hols. Can you imagine what Clarks will be like today :(:(

.........oh and DD, now she has finally got out of bed has informed me she will not be wearing anything from Clarks :o

It going to be fun fun fun :o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    For you FC....

As i've said before, my DS defo shows similarities to yours, but not to the same degree. My DS has just started college and STILL can't do his laces to any kind of success lasting more than 30 seconds of wear. Anyway, I always keep pairs of the slidy thingies that are often found on umbro type joggers, or maybe the sides of fleeces/jackets. These along with either normal laces/or elastic that I also recycle from the above items has been a god send over the last few years and still is! In fact my DS new college boots are being held on by the elastic and sliders he no longer wanted at the bottom of his 3/4 joggers at the weekend. :rotfl:

May not be suitable for your DS just now, but something to think about or maybe try with some other shoes to start off with. x
