Morning all. Didnt get on yesterday, manic day with tigercub, DS, mum and Dad. Bought school shoes yesterday for DS:eek: total rip off and we had a production line going sewing name labels into his uniform. even Dad had a go.

I've got an egg free syrup cake in the oven already - thought Ma and pa could take back with them as they leave today. I bought 15 eggs on Sunday... ??! and I and my OH have not eaten any. Hence the egg free sponge :rotfl:

  • Oops - forgot to say Good Morning all! Nice sunny day here with a bit of a chill in the air at the moment though,

Westvleteren - great accomplishment! I think I need to join the 5:2 club - have lost enough that my jeans are falling down BUT not enough to get comfortably into the ones I have 2 sizes down. I REFUSE to buy any mid range as I ballooned fast & this particular weight I seem to go pretty quickly between 2 sizes - that should read 'seemed' as this time it's not so quick - but there's no way I'm buying more jeans as I have gracious plenty if I can lose another 7lbs or so.

    Evening all

Thanks for all of the holiday help :A

Have spent all evening searching for deals whilst DH at a local beerfest. I'm no nearer booking anything though  Think the problem is that we are looking for something very last minute (to go next Sat) and the weather forecast is looking promising. To get a nice lodge with hot tub we're looking at twice what we paid last year
Thanks for the link PG :A I'd already had a peek on there and a standard caravan is £615. Don't think my MSE side could face paying that when I know half the park will be there on a Sun deal :p

Think i'll grab myself a vodka and cherry pepsi max and have another look with DH tomorrow :rotfl:

Good morning everybody I hope you are well and have a fabulous Saturday. Happy shopping.
    I managed a NSD yesterday.

Congratulations westie on getting into the Jeans. I hope you enjoy wearing them.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.
  • Logie have you looked on ebay - I'm sure I saw some county cottages in Devon, with their own internal swimming pool for around that cost. I'll go look see now

I don't think I've seen it mentioned on here & it may be worth it for LOTS of us who don't live near an Asda.

Asda have a delivery saver - cost is just £5 for a WHOLE MONTH - as many deliveries as you want - limited to 1 a day. The amount you have to order is a minimum of £25 a time. It'll be £8 a month after 13th September

There is also a code for £10 off a first £50 shop or £20 off a £100 one on MSM until tonight. Don't forget to refer a friend to also get an extra £10 each cashback ALTHOUGH I'm damned if I could find anywhere to put this at checkout! I've written to MSM about this so live in hope!

As we have about a 14 mile round trip to Asda this makes sense to me. I can partake of all the glitches/cashbacks and still get an APG and cashback - we quite often spend around this figure knowing that with cashback & APG we've spent a fraction of the figure. Also quite often stuff is OOS in our shop but the deliveries come from another store and in the past we've been pretty lucky that we've had delivered just about everything. You can always send back if they substitute!

I've just done a £50+ shop. Got £10 off 1st order, should get an APG for £16 and £7+ CB - net cost to me £17ish + £5 for a months delivery - you ALSO get the delivery costs back for ALL shops up to £25 a person from MSM. Bit of a no-brainer!

IF my new best friend and me also get the refer a friend bonus each we'll be £3 up!!!

    Check it out!
That's really good - ill have to look into it. Thanks :D
    Morning all :j

Today is a good day :)

1 year and 10 days ago I set out to lose ( lose is the wrong word - I don't ever want to find it again  so I 'got rid' instead :D)some weight so I could fit into these:

Well, this morning I can fit in them and get the zip and button done up, just have the muffin tops to iron out :D This time last year I couldn't even get them past my calf

I see some of the 5:2 ers are having success - keep going :)
Yippee - well done Westy, what a great achievement!! :T
