    Afternoon all

I've been lurking, miffed I cant drive the car yet as I would have loved some of the Tosco toys to put up for santa.

I've been reading / catching up in the evening whilst on my exercise bike, it makes the time fly by. :)

Have a lovely weekend all, was my birthday yesterday but I was very good and skipped the cake.

Happy birthday for yesterday emiai, hope you had a lovely day. :bdaycake:
If it makes you feel any better my carpy T's haven't got any of the reduced toys in. I don drive so getting to another T's is an adventure that I'm not willing to partake in. :D

Hooray! DH phoned to say that his boss has let him have the week after next off work :j:j He said even though they'll struggle he'll grant the leave because he knows how much we need a break. With the multitude of appointments and visitors planned this month it was the only week we could get away. So for the rest of the day I shall be mainly searching for a holiday :D

Wahey :j fab news hun. X

Without wanting to take over the thread with Off topic conversation, I just miss my mum. Its been three years. I sometimes want/need to pick up the phone to hear her voice, and knowing I can't, just destroys me. I'm missing my mother so much today. Don't know where this came from. Its out of the blue. It feels like the first day. The day I heard she was gone.

    It's so hard, isn't it.

Last week I took Mum to visit my Dads Grave, when he was buried she booked the plot next to him for herself.
Whenever I visit the grave not only do I grieve for my Dad, but I look at that empty plot and can only think that one day my Mum will be there under the earth. It's such a horrible thought and it eats me up inside.

Yesterday we went to a family funeral in another town and all I could focus on was I can't bear to think about how I will feel and cope when anything happens to my Mum, she's 83 and a want her to live forever.

18 months on and I still can't visit the crem for my mum or my FIL's grave (he died within weeks of my mum). I am getting there slowly though, on our holiday a country singer sang 'Delilah' and it brought such a rush of a fun holiday where my mum was dragged up to sing with a singer I thought I was going to need to leave the show but it actually was a ggod memory and I felt more happy than sad if that makes any sense.
