Sending you both massive virtual hugs mhoc and YQ :A

A work colleague borrowed a pair of scissors from me and I automatically said "be careful with those, they're sharp", he replied "don't worry, I won't run with them..."

    :rotfl:glad I'm not the only one :D

YogurtQueen, hugs to you hugsmile1.gif It's just over 3 years since my Dad died and I had one of those days yesterday where I missed him more. Dropped the boys at Mum's and DS1 was pointing to his picture and asking if we could go and see him. DS1 was only 8 weeks old when Dad died and Dad would have really loved him.

mhoc, hugs to you too hugsmile1.gif I have no idea how you must feel being on tenterhooks for that long knowing someone you love is far away. I can relate in a way to a continued unsettled feeling though. Think I'm going to feel like that until my next scan in January. You just have to go from day to day.

Thanks Mrs S, you have really cheered me up with your tales :D Was feeling a bit down in the dumps earlier.

We all have made mistakes like this, especially when it's new and it does make you want to give up. The problem is that when it works you get a buzz :D
I have promised myself though that I'll only partake in glitches of things we would usually buy or can replace something we would otherwise get. That way you haven't completely wasted your money if it goes booblies up. It's all too easy to see a massive discount from the overinflated RRP but it's only a bargain if you need it.
I haven't partaken of any of the baby food/drinks lately as we just don't use them (I'm not some crazy woman who spends hours in the kitchen making special meals for the boys either - they just get a portion of what we have before any salt is added)

No problem babe, wish I lived near you, I would sit my bum on your sofa and tell you stories that would have you wanting dry pants on :D
(In a completely non pervy way of course ) lol. That's sound  when I read it back. :rotfl:

My garage is starting to look like a riot so i need shelving. I've never looked before because i never had space before

What do folks reckon to this ebay listing? Decent price or is there better out there?

They look ok ,shelves need to be sturdy:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:the ones I got from makro had plywood type shelves and being in a garage have warped ,my products :)on the shelves are now leaning backwards if you get my drift.

It's also above the £5 minmum withdrawal limit so if someone was to open up a new account just for these things they could claim immediately ;) :money:

    Afternoon all

I've been lurking, miffed I cant drive the car yet as I would have loved some of the Tosco toys to put up for santa.

I've been reading / catching up in the evening whilst on my exercise bike, it makes the time fly by. :)

Have a lovely weekend all, was my birthday yesterday but I was very good and skipped the cake.
    Wishing you all good luck!

Hooray! DH phoned to say that his boss has let him have the week after next off work :j:j He said even though they'll struggle he'll grant the leave because he knows how much we need a break. With the multitude of appointments and visitors planned this month it was the only week we could get away. So for the rest of the day I shall be mainly searching for a holiday :D

Fabulous  where are you hoping to go, check out the holiday forums on here, you could even post on there and ask peeps to have a look out for offers for you.:T
