Puppy HATES the rain!

My (rescue) dog hated mud, water, rain and any kind of dirt, so I'm guessing she was a "townie" dog in her previous life. When out walking, if we came to somewhere muddy, she would stop and look at me as if saying: "But mummy I can't possibly walk through this! It's dirty!" :rotfl:
I just told her to get on with it and said "come on, it's ok" etc and she'd walk through it like a drag queen in stilettos
She's fine with all of it now, but will only go swimming in the lake if there's a bird on it. If there are no birds, she pretends she's scared of the water
Yes, she's a weird dog

Just watch out for the "front paws out the door, ooh it's raining, stay put and squat with rear end still inside " routine.
Particularly likely to happen when rain turns to snow, previous experience has shown.
And the pretend wees - out, squat, shoot back in having done nothing, then major sulk when they get thrown back out to do it properly. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
