    thank for your reply,

what about harrassing me on the phone? I am always abroad for work and you know what they are doing? calling me 10 times par day with excuses. Yesterday I received the letter they are willing to give a gesture of goodwill of £ 5. Rubbish.
They also said that they wont call me anymore. Really? The letter was dated on the 12th of June and in the last 3 days they called me. I told them to stop harrassing me. They don't care. Even with the letter they are still doing it. I sent an e.mail to them to stop but nothing changed. Tomorrow I ll call Otelo and I report for this harrassment and I will sue this company for this, they are stressing me out.
    Any advice?

I would go in a shop. There they will call their own customer services (based in Scotland, so at least British) and they will talk to you and try and get the matter resolved.
Unfortunately due to the duration of the contract there isn't much you can do about it, but the hassling and constant calls are a cause for concern and need to be resolved.

The main point that hits me in your posts is......

"Also they harrass me all the time especially if I don't pay the bill on the 5th of the month"
    and
"Who else had a line cut off after 9 days and I say 9 days after your bill is due?"

You have a contract, you agreed to the monthly fee on a set date, you dont pay your bills on time so they ring you to ask why you haven't paid.

Don't want to be "harrassed"? .... easy....pay your bills on time.

Sorry to be harsh but this particular problem is your own making.
Admittedly the contract length and roaming needs sorting.

    John,
I think he means his bill is printed on the 5th of the month, and then they are contacting him 9 days after to chase payment. Easiest solution is to set up a DD, save yourself £3 per month, you can set it up for whatever date you like and no constant calls chasing payment.

Legally, as soon as your bill is printed you have to pay it, but due to goodwill they give you 14 days. So be careful with it as they can chase payment whenever they see necessary, especially if you may go over your credit limit.

gema21 is correct direct debit set up is the best, if you dont like that then you can have a text message sent to your phone saying the amount due for the month instead of them calling you but I'd go for the direct debit. If they chase you then there is a chance you can get cut off and put get crap offers regarding upgrades and deals
