Sorry, not with vista specifically. closed will come up with a long list of changes based on your Hijack log though.

I'm sorry I have no idea what the above means?
    Is it instructions?

I'd keep the £18 in your pocket.

If it's slow, or not as good as it once was, the best and fastetst way of curing that, is backup data, create recovery disc, factory restore from factory restore partition, reinstall any missing programs and put data back, install avast free without chrome, install macrium reflect free, create a disk image backup (not clone to external drive), and create macrium boot cd.

I can come up with a list of tweaking instructions, but on vista, reinstall cure's all.

I use the free version of CCleaner for deleting all sorts of crap from my PC.

This just clears various caches and old registry entries etc., but it does seem to make some programs run more smoothly.

As for your HijackThis entry, you have a quite a lot of things opening at startup.

Do you need all of those things to open at startup? Anything you don't use, either uninstall or stop it opening at startup and that should make a difference.

Go to start menu > in search field type "msconfig" and then hit enter > go to the startup tab and look at everything there. You can untick anything you don't need, but you should make sure that it won't cause programs you actually use to misbehave before doing so.
