guys need to clarify on a couple of things it seems. firstly, the entire system was buggy, not just the scores. after a person bowled, the pins wuldnt be replaced properly and someone would need to go to the back each time to fix it.

Is there any watchdog i could contact as opposed to writing a physical letter? they are after all in breach of the "Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982".

Yes, the watchdog is H.M. Courts Service.
Sue them if you want to enforce your rights under that Act.

By writing a real letter, you are showing them that you mean business.

If you don't want to put the effort into writing a real letter, then they can reasonably assume that you really aren't too bothered.
  • thank you wealdroam, ill write a letter but what do you personally think my chances are in court of a refund and compensation, especially for the waste of time?

I think you'll probably get a refund of the game you didn't play. Anything extra would be a gesture of goodwill. Compensation is out of the question (legally).
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

    Compensation for what exactly ?

Id say most you can expect is a refund of the game.
