Do NOT do this. They WILL remember you and in all probability ban you from their site completely.

You have to give ebay what they want or face the consequences, usually a complete ban from ebay forever.

You are forced to upgrade based on whether you list x amount in the same category over a certain period of time.

That will depend on the individual and be different from case to case.

There is no universal rule with Ebay. It's better to not risk your account by upsetting them.

Just upgrade to a business account or sell less. It will save you alot of bother.

They're forcing me to a business account AND I will be selling less (in a month or so once the clear out is complete).

If I have to accept the "upgrade" (why am I getting visions of cyber men?), then I'll use the business account to get rid of my remaining items, then use my personal account to get rid of a few bits and bobs every month as usual.
