Why did you feel the need to update the BIOS?
So clearly by doing that, the motherboard drivers are also out of date, and you need to update those also!
Or is it chicken and egg? you updated the BIOS to get rid of the issue?
I have the same mobo, and am unaware of any issues that you report, I'm usually keen on that, can you give me links?
Setup windows to halt on error, or make a log, in safe mode/pre boot, then post the x code. My partners compy recently had bsod/resetting at random, I stopped it at boot; typed in the code, done chkdsk/r job done, took 5 minutes. All good.
When you get a dodgy compy, just reseat memory, push down on the processor, make sure everything is free of dust and fluff.
Like to see the reports about my mobo.0
