    If you don't want to go wireless, you should be able to find a local telecoms/data engineer who can run you a cable and socket for around £30 - £40 - should not cost too much more than that.

    You can get refurbished or discontinued wireless routers at www.dsldepot.co.uk - but remember to make sure your pc is capable of wireless too

    Well i phoned virgin technical support and was advised that seeing as my computer is 7 years old it would be best to get them to move the modem, which i was told would cost me £75! :eek:
    So i phoned retentions and ended up with both my TV packages upgraded for free and they are coming to move the modem on friday for free too!
