First Direct - too much junk mail

Ever thought this might be a trolling post?
Newbie creates new account purely for the reason of complaining about junk mail from a bank with high customer service reports?
I've opted in to there postal marketing and get on average one piece of marketing material per month. It normally gets thrown away, but if they come out with something decent in the future I want to know about it.0 -

It occurs to me that every new post might be a troll post but I try not to call them out on it in case it's genuine
What will your verse be?

I moved to FD in Feb this year and do recall thinking just how much stuff came through the post in the first two months - they wrote a couple of times wanting me to have their credit card, ISA and their First Directory product - of the products I did ask for, that generated more paperwork as they seem to want an application form signing for each and every new product you take out..
That said, I wouldn't call it 'junk' as I read it first THEN threw it in the bin, shredding the personal bits of course..Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.0
