Do you stay with the same broadband supplier,I do and still am doing so.I joined Plusnet three or four years ago and enjoyed both great and fair priced service, but on renewal this year I was told it was a two year contract or nothing, new customers are getting more but only a one year contract.I wasn't informed until the day before the end of my contract which by that time I couldn't get a different supplier because of the switch-over time all suppliers take.Until the other day I was using the online system in the hope of getting the contract changed to one year, and their answer is new customers get the best to bring them into the service.Until this matter I couldn't fault them but now my faith in them has gone and when the contract finishes so will my time with Plusnet.:(

With Plus.net you don't have to "renew" anything. The only renewal thing going on there is the Line Rental Saver.

You're probably referring to upgrading the broadband package from the older legacy accounts. These can be 12 month but there is an option to switch to one without a contract but you would be paying a higher price. The Fibre broadband is 18 month contract.

You didn't have to switch from the legacy/older packages if you didn't want to.
