Quoted OP just in case;)
What are you OP 35 weeks or 38 weeks pregnant?
If you partner was with you then there were two of you in the house - so no reaosn to fele intimidated and what did the do to make you feel intimidated?
Full term is anywhere from 37 weeks onwards and 40 weeks is your due date, maybe read things correctly before flaming?

Works both ways!
In the OP the poster has cited that the lady is 35 weeks pregnant and 38 weeks pregnant.
Well she can't be both.
I'm VERY honoured you picked your FIRST post on MSE to have a go at little old me. OP's husband by any chance?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

To be fair, the op also said the partner had to take a day off work for the delivery losing £100 then, when mentioning the compensation offered and her taking time off, said '£50 doesn't cover half a days wages'..
Maths not their strong point? If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
I know I have had a long day at work, ( and managed to shut my head in the car door
) but congratulations to everyone who actually read the opening post.
I just couldn't do it. :rotfl:
And as for - to be continued :eek::eek:0 -

By my reckoning Asda delivered in less than eight weeks and not more than nine weeks the OP claims.0 -
I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I absolutely hate how some people think it's an excuse to make a company bend over backwards. In this case I just don't think it's relevant. I've had tons of work done in my home whilst pregnant even sleeping on a mattress on the floor 2 weeks ago whilst we waited for carpets to be fitted.
I'm sorry to sound a bit rude but why does her being pregnant mean you can't wait for them to call to arrange collection of the sofa? Mistakes happen..in any company and I'm sure you've made a few yourself. You've barely given them chance to sort the matter out. I presume you have other furniture in the house for her to sit on?! Beds etc...
And another thing - this taken a day off work and losing £100. So she took the day unpaid then as a pose to annual leave? I'm betting she didn't lose £100 at all! I don't know where she works but I've lost plenty of days annual leave for carp reasons such as surgery, waiting on plumbers etc etc..it's life!
I think people are so unreasonable sometimes. Let's face it it's not inconvenient at all as you can tell from the tone of the post you'll be milking this for as much comp as you can get!
Sorry..hate to be harsh but I do wish people would be fair when complaining!!!0
