  • ah, right. So just a fake strap then.
    If it's not called a genuine GoPro strap then it's not fake or a counterfeit.
    Every mobile phone and camera shop in the UK will sell accessories (straps, cases, leads etc) suitable for many different models and these are perfectly legal to sell provided that they are not passed off as being made by the OEM.

    Which is why I said copies. Portsmouth is a drop shipping hub for Chinese eBay sellers.

    So you get the fakes, or just like the original copies of brand x from there. Which tend to be....ermm nothing like the original.

    If it's not advertised as, marked as or being sold as a genuine GoPro strap then it's not a fake, silply a copy. (which provided it isn't an exact copy of a registered design, is perfectly legal).
