scanning apps to mobile phone
morning all . I changed to a much more modern mobile recently and would like to put some of the apps i see ( bank a/c etc ) on my mobile. I see these little black squares and though I have looked on the internet for the life of me I cannot figure out how to scan. Is there some tool on the phone I have to activate or something?? I see I have samsung apps on the phone but that just shows loads of games and at my age thats of no interest. any advice in the most simple terms appreciated.

Just download an app that can scan QR codes, some phones will have the app built in, others will require a download0

Do you mean QR codes?
Guess what? You need an app for that
Go to your App Store and search for QR scanner. There should be a few free apps that you can use to scan the codes. It takes a picture of the QR code and then converts it to the web address that you need to get the bank app.
You can also just search in your App Store for the bank apps that you want. In effect, that's what the QR code is doing - it just takes you directly to the app it's advertising without you having to search for it.0 -
