    Morning all,
I have some in my crochet bag, sewing kit( a few diff sizes) ones for my cardmaking, kitchen,garage-of course they all mount up :D

"Don't use those, they're my fabric scissors" :rotfl:

I know exactly where you're coming from ;)
And I understand the "can't find a pair of scissors" routine, which is why there is a pair in the kitchen, a pair by his computer and a pair by my computer. As well as the aforementioned pink handled fabric scissors :D

    Hi all

I seem to be confined to one tiddly little bit of the sofa, as I have two little canine princesses sprawled out over most of it. You wouldn't think two such small dogs could occupy so much space!:D

You haven't met my friend's cats. Terribly good at occupying every spare inch of sofa :D

Slippers come in pairs, like certain chocolate biscuit snacks - you can have the other one.:rotfl:

Had clinic today and I can stop dressing one toe, I have to keep it covered in the garden though the other still has problems and still has to be dressed so back in another two weeks :(.I have now been referred to the bio-mechanics clinic for the problems with my big toe :) that could take up to 18 weeks for an appointment to come through
Happy 80th Birthday Ruby's Dad :bdaycake:

It is DD's Birthday tomorrow, she will be 24  Where did those the years go?

DH is on holiday now for two weeks, so I will probably be on in fits and starts. He is trying to get all the outside jobs done plus a few indoors this week and then we are going to get a few days away on a last minute short break somewhere.
So far he has painted the soffits the cast iron pipes and the metal gates, taken out a leyandii hedge for next door neighbour, it was becoming a nusiance so we have both decided to go halves and put a fence in and done four tip runs.
Tomorrow we are going to go and order the fence panels and posts from the local lumber mill, much better quality than Wickes, B&Q etc, yes it is a little more expensive but the wood is solid not paper thin and will last a good few years, sometimes it is better to spend a little more for quality.
Right I had better make him a cuppa so

    Afternoon ladies and gents

:T yippee the college have allowed my boy to resit his AS levels. He's dropped physics and psychology and will be doing Biology, Media and History and also trying to lift his D in Politics to a C.
She was lovely very clear on what they expect and he will sign a contract so if he's not doing what he is supposed to be doing by the end of the first term he will be out on his ear, which I completely agree with. I think he will have a very different attitude this year.

My daughter also passed her exam:D

To top off a great day just had a phone call from Australia to say my brothers coming to visit early September for two weeks, which will be lovely. I'm planning the party to welcome him already:j

Julie well done DS and DD
Took DD to shopping centre to collect her holiday tickets, its 10 minutes drive away but took an hour to get home due to roadworks
Have rehomed deep fat frier, and taken more carp to the dump, went to big blue and yellow shed to get wardrobe ideas, and now have diet coke chicken bubbling on the cooker for dinner, smells nice, never made it before but I am starving so it will be scoffed even if its rotten!
