Morning all,
Hope your Dad has a lovely day Redruby
Judi-hope the baby is improving.
Nar-150 people,big party,sure it'll be great.
Been tidying upstairs & decided to do 2 drawers in our bedroom as it got to the stage I couldnt find anything, just the rest of the house now.Mind you DS1 has taken a pic of (hmm) several pairs of scissors I found because I bought another set with 3 in last night- I said to him,'your dad says he can never find any scissors' (though he is one of those men who can never find anything!) DS went round the house finding more and laid them all out before sending the pic to DS2 with the caption' think we need a family meeting about Mums scissor problem'.Cheeky
I have some in my crochet bag, sewing kit( a few diff sizes) ones for my cardmaking, kitchen,garage-of course they all mount up
Had my green smoothie for brek, will have another for lunch, not sure whats for tea yet, will rummage in the freezer, but when DGD comes for tea we tend to have fish and I know we have some in there.
Have a good day all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -

...I looked into enrolling on a cake decorating course this morning but they want £234  . Also the course is in the evening and I'm scared to go out in the dark so I'd have to factor in the cost of a taxi every week too. It's a no go I think but there are hundreds of tutorials on youtube so I may just get some basic stuff and have a go. I'm quite arty-farty so hopefully it won't be a disaster.:rotfl:...
You can find good online courses either free or paid-for I will dig out some links for you0 -
Afternoon all,
well I was tempted to type good morning since i'm still not dressed (and before you say anything NAR i'm wearing nightclothes and not, I repeat NOT naked).
Ok I admit it. I had a shower and thought i'm not going out today so i'm back in a clean nightshirt.:o
Over the last two days ive managed to skin the dogs off (not literally of course). This is usually a job I leave to hubby as he is better at it than me but he doesn't have time so ive had a go myself. Well all I can say is that their hair will grow.:D I'm sure they don't realize how ridiculous they look but they will thank me for cutting off so much hair. They must be cooler now. Ive also trimmed Lucy dogs claws. I have to do Millie dogs later which I hate doing as they grow so long and her claws are black.
News from the baby house is not very good I am afraid. Little Unathi is definitely HIV positive and she is quite ill today. Her breathing is laboured and shallow. I'll let you know when I hear more. The carers that have been helping the girls on a part time basis have cancelled their free time and are holding the fort at the baby house whilst the girls are are at the hospital.
NAR I too will be waiting for my invite to your party.... i am guessing not only will you have invited us 'your harem' of ladies.... I am trusting Halight will get his invite too.;)
I'm in 'sod it' mode today. All dailies completed but ive got no intention of doing anything else.
Lamb for tea.... nothing exciting but it'll do.

Hi all
I seem to be confined to one tiddly little bit of the sofa, as I have two little canine princesses sprawled out over most of it. You wouldn't think two such small dogs could occupy so much space!:D
Happy Birthday to Redruby's Dad; hope he enjoys his fish'n'chip dinner.:o
Luxor it sounds like a nice meal out would do your DH good; it must be awful just having to deal with the probate, let alone having to find out that the people she trusted were not as loyal as she would have believed.
NAR 150 people?? Flippin' 'eck, a gathering of 15 would have me sat under the table chewing a slipper!
Mr LW has put the mobility buggy out in the carport for me, so I shall take the girls for a bit of a walk shortly; he helped me with them yesterday, as he was wfh,:A but he's in the office today, so I shall have to manage alone. Based on yesterday though, I should be OK with the two – I'll take them to the field at the back, away from any traffic – the Redway runs through it, so it's fine for the buggy. If they muck me about, I'll pick one up and sit her on my lap, and swap them over partway through.:D I don't think they will though - they just like to examine every blade of grass as it's all strange new territory.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Ive just had to do a google search. Apparently Unathi has full blown AIDS.
I wasn't exactly sure what the difference between HIV and AIDS is.
I do now.:(
'HIV is the virus that damages the immune system (kills CD4 cells) and can lead to AIDS. AIDS is diagnosed when the CD4 cell count drops to 200 or below. As the CD4 cell count drops, the person is more vulnerable to other illnesses, such as colds, flu, pneumonia, and other infections'.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
