    I have just used their cost calculator and it states that it should be £276.00 for 3 years !!
    When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!

    Offer them a proportion of that then based on how long you used it for, seems fair.

    They don't know how long I have had it on there for !!

    They may be charging you for their effort in tracking you down and getting the money from you.

    TBH it's probably better to assume any image on the internet is copyright; it's just that some companies (the ones which apply a watermark to their images) make it more obvious. It's foolish to assume a non-watermarked image isn't copyright.
