Decent dollar rate from Thomas Cook

I wanted to take some cash with me on our forthcoming trip to the USA (of course everything there will be spent / drawn on Zero or Clarity cards). I found that if you order online, Thomas Cook are doing an excellent deal - $1.531 to £1 with no commission. Order online and pick up at a local branch (Solihull for me).

I got $160 for £104.51 which beats almost all the others on the MSE comparison page except those in London.

Time to update that page?

Oh, BTW they also accept debit cards with no fee.

Not a bad rate for cash here, only about 2% worse than the Mastercard rate.

Note that a debit card charge is sometimes levied by your own bank, rather than the retailer, when you buy foreign currency - though I think most are now stopping this ludicrous charge.
