The council have warned restaurants about touting."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0 -
It's a bit off Brick Lane, but easily the best curry I've ever had was at Tayyabs - just as cheap as Brick Lane, no touts, and you have to queue because it's very popular, but the food is *fantastic*. And it's BYOB which keeps the cost down!Keep the Faith:cool:0

we were there last Friday night and there were 1000's of people. We walked into the 1st restaurant we stumbled across and got a table. However as we walked further on later in the evening, many places were chocka. It was Friday of Bank Holiday weekend but maybe a good idea to book if you want to go to a particular venue. Cant wait to go again but just wish I was 30 years younger0

I have yet to venture to Brick lane but if you are looking for the best curry in the suburbs of London I have no doubt that Tooting is the best place to go. There are loads of curry houses down there, although most of them are laid out cafe style. They are all traditional and nearlly every time we have gone there have been mostly indian families eating there - I think that proves some kind of point.End of 2010 I was £8,007.66 in debt
Today's total: £7,297.06
