They should have got back to you and didn't but if you are going to treat ever knock back or issue like this then you're best not buying.
Move on and move forward, pick your battles as you will have lots to deal with.0 -
It's really not worth worrying about, or spending your time writing letters that will be ignored. Obviously this was not the right house for you - everything happens for a reason.
With the greatest of respect, God help you though if something like that will put you off buying a house, ever....not a healthy / balanced perspective on life.0 -
It's not illegal, annoying yes, but definitely not illegal. Just put it behind you and concentrate on finding another house.
too many comps..not enough time!0 -
Go and knock on the door and ask the vendors if your offer was passed on to them. Depending how far from asking your offer was, you might find the vendors very interested to find out about your offer. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0

Agreed. Direct action is easier than writing a letter that won't even be acknowledged, and it might just cause the EA a small headache or give you some insight.
House buying and selling is fraught with pitfalls and sudden unexpected turns of event. If you didn't start from a full understanding of that, you began from the wrong place.
Now you know it, forget this property and move on.
