Some of my chillies going purple?

Any ideas on this one?

Most as still green,a few have turned red and there are several that are either completely purple or with purple blotches *scratches head*
If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?

    They could taste volcanic, :D:D

    Just had some red jalapeno, varieties in a chilli for lunch, wow, :eek:, to say the least
    I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

    Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

    Several varieties go from green to purple/almost black before turning red.

    If you get too many, don't forget they also freeze well too. I pop them into a Philadelphia pot, or margarine tub.

    A quick rub between the palms thaws and softens them up to make them safe for slicing.

    Ah.I'm sure the red ones went straight from green though.Hmm

    So, do you think it is better to freeze than dry and store, must admit a lot of my dried ones rotted last year due to late ripening, never frozen any,

    Quite normal, I've heard it said it is due to plenty of sun. Some of my plants go purple on the stems.

    there are lots of chillis that stay purple colour I grow Gustos Purple for instance.
