Any keen bird feeders out there?

Everything is in 20kg sacks including chicken food. My poor delivery driver must hate customers like me:)
I have several feeders on two trees. The suet pellets and fat balls are the most popular.
There are six bird boxes around the property and all have been inhabited this year, some are on their second brood. I think word has got round about the easy pickings to be had:)
I'll keep going through the winter I think and then try and reduce the feeders gradually next year.0 -
The Original Factory Shop locally are selling 50 fat balls £6 per tub and 12.7kg bird seed same price (though have seen seed cheaper at B and M)0

Thanks! Now I'm happy although there are about 25 of the little blighters. They are as greedy as the baby starlings were. :beer:0

Aw bless! I love watching the babies getting fed.
The consumption of fat balls on our feeders has dropped dramatically in the last couple of days. The adolescent starlings have taken off for the wide blue yonder at last! I was putting at least 4 or 5 balls a day out for long enough and now 2 is ample!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -

My starlings have gone and been replaced by greenfinches, flocks of them.
I haven't put out fat balls all summer and am saving them for autumn and winter. Before I head off I'll get some more sunflower hearts from the local country store (now that I've found it). It may not be cheaper than online companies but my favourite one has imposed carriage charges which it didn't used to do. We've been 're-classified' as being in the Highlands. Wish we were.0
