My birds are off their feed, have changed the make (Kingfisher Bird Care).Looks OK...... 12.75kg for £7 from Original Factory Shop.... sale price.
Still have the plastic sack, can't read "best Before", Will see them tomorrow.

If you can't read (reed),:o:o:o, forget the pun, (see above), then I very much doubt the birds can.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

I live with my parents and my Mum won't let me feed the birds because it 'encourages' rats :( I bought my MIL a bird table for Christmas though - she loves feeding the birdies! She feeds them roast pork!
  • As I shop with my mum for Christmas i dropped the hint that i would like a small nyger feeder. I put it up in mid Jan and on thursday (first i had seen anyway) had my first visit of goldfinches - about four/five.
They have since returned in the last few days sometimes only one or two though but well chuffed to have them.

Great Daven....The only 'exotic' birds I get are sparrows, unless you count the reed buntings that look like sparrows anyway. Oh and collar doves, are they special ?
  • I think you are lucky to get the reed buntings -what sort of area are you in? I would guess close to countryside.
We are quite urban on the outskirts of a town with a pocket of farmland and various scrub/woodlands before the next village.

Nature reserve not far away, in fact two, one 70 acres (marsh harriers often nest) and the other just a hop and a skip away 10 acres , ponds reeds etc.
We get the occasional sparrow hawk on patrol and lots of kestrels on the walks, and was out one day and saw a raptor, forget the name begins with a P.
  • Peregrine? Lucky you once again.
