This coming Wednesday I have a 260 mile trip to make with an almost 3-year-old and a 2 month old baby. Not sure if it would work on your route but maybe Prinknash Abbey bird and deer park could be good? I used to go there every summer holidays when I went to stay with my Grandparents in Cheltenham and we took our children there as a stop off on the way to Cornwall.
