How can I download Amazon appstore on my computer or another suitable app/ software: I do not have an android? I only have a pc Windows 7.
There are many free e books and e magazines I would like to read on my pc but only available for androids, Kindle Fire etc.
Is there a LEGAL way please? I have "Googled" this question but after much searching found no answer.
Many thanks for any help

You are really rubbish at googling by the way.

There are dozens of reading apps for anything the kindle doesn't read.
    Nook, Kobo, etc.

If you want to read eBooks from Amazon on your computer, you need to download and install Kindle for PC which you can find here:

The appstore is only for Android devices.

Edit: completely beaten to it :rotfl:

Thank you for your replies, however I feel they do not address my question (perhaps I did not explain myself well).
I know about KINDLE app, I have it and use it to read e books. Hence my request for apps for other devices. I know that app store is only for Android devices, hence my question : is there a way to use software to adapt my pc into a pretend android / Kindle Fire etc so as to access what at present I cannot. Usually there is a way round things in the technology. If the answer is NO then that is that and I will not try any more. (SO I am NOT useless at Googling thank You!!)

Well if you had said that instead of waffling on about ebooks and magazines you wanted to read I might have got it.

Yes it was a tad unclear ;) an Android emulator is what you're after and need to google for - quite a few of them about I believe but can't recommend any though as I don't use them.

So if not Kindle, what Android app are you actually trying to emulate on your W7 PC?

First, a little info on file formats.

Second, an article on digital magazine publishing.

Third, a few suggestions: More stuff here if you have sufficient time. ;)
