First, a little info on file formats.

Second, an article on digital magazine publishing.

Third, a few suggestions: More stuff here if you have sufficient time. ;)

OP does not actually want to read eBooks, but to run apps.

Apps that read books, perhaps? Can't find anything on the AMD AppZone but it might be worth a look all the same.

    No, other apps.

Hmm... I think we need more input. :o

So if not Kindle, what Android app are you actually trying to emulate on your W7 PC?

I am not the OP and someone has already told them, how and where to get an emulator. I think you need to read the thread.

I think you need to read the thread.

If we knew precisely what was required then someone, somewhere would be able to either pitch in with a viable alternative or else bring this discussion to a definitive conclusion by explicitly stating that emulation is the only solution to the problem.

    1. We do or at least I and others apart from you do!
    2. A solution has been given, use an emulator.
    3. I am still not the OP.
    4. If you had read and understood the thread instead of jumping in and using big words (which you think is a sign of intellect) which is generally bluster to hide insecurities, you would know that.

That's self-evident. It (my post) only appears to indicate otherwise because the word 'we' possesses a certain ambiguity.

Is a little clarification too much to ask for? :(
