A few questions regarding multi destination flights

Options
Untitled.jpg

Ive booked a ticket for the above, it is all on one single ticket. When I get to Helsinki on the outbound and return journeys will my luggage be automatically transferred to the other Finnair plane?

Also because it is all on one ticket when I get to Bangkok how will the airport know to direct my luggage to collection? Or will the airline hold onto my luggage form the 6th to the 11th, will the airline know I am going to be exiting the airport and not actually spending four days in transit, lol.

Sorry, this is my first time booking a multi destination flight and am kind of worried now.

You have booked a multi sector ticket, not a single ticket.

Your luggage will be transferred in Helsinki as this is classed as a single ticket sector. So you will not need to collect your bags in Helsinki, they will be transferred from and to your FlyBe aircraft.

The airline will put your bags out to collect at BKK - you have bought multiple sectors as one purchase, not one ticket, they will do the same at Singapore and Hong Kong.

    Hi Negotiator,

when you check in at Manchester, your flight details will show up on the airlines computer and the check in staff will tag your bag to Bangkok, so it will come off there.

I ALWAYS check the tag on my bag before they let it go on the belt because one time it was incorrectly tagged, so I am ultra fussy!!!!
The tag will have both flight numbers and destinations on it.

If this is all one ticket, your bag will automatically transfer onto the flight to Bangkok.

They should issue you with boarding cards for the flight to Helsinki and the flight to Bangkok at check in.

The same should happen when you check in at Hong Kong for the journey home.
