Bt sports with sky address not validated

Trying to subscribe to bt sports with sky. I was told that my viewing card does not match my address which is strange as I have lived in the same address for over 35 yrs. Has this happened to anybody? Thanks

    Hi loulou,

This has happened to many people and has been reported on many forums.

You need to go to your 'My Sky' account to get the address and postcode Sky has for you and then give that exact address to BT.

Nope, I had no problem when I subscribed online yesterday - you would need to speak to Sky about it though, might be that they have a different value than normal in a field - maybe you could check online what sky have in what fields for your address....

Tried to subscribe online, and could not do it as the system wants me to change all my calls to BT. Currently I have sky tv, broadband and sky talk. My line rental is with BT, I have kept it as I use 18185 for all my calls. Thanks

Hmm... Thats not right and nor is it a requirement either. I'd just ring them up to sort it.

There are two options taking BT Sport over Sky platform on the website, one to get BTS for free and one for £12 or £15 a month standard or high definition, did you pick the correct one ? You only get it free with BT broadband, not BT line rental
