Just spent ages picking my ringtone ILC. Decided on Paradise Island.
I know this phone is wasted on me but nice to flash about to my family who often laugh about my comping!

Jings! Sorry to hear you peeps are feeling the cold!! Must be awful chilly with you - have seen that parts have considerable drop in temperature of late :eek::eek:

Stifling here - after change from rain to muggy hot hot!! House like oven (partic top of house) so fan will be on tonite.

Just watching Secrets of the Pickpockets (channel 4 - new, filmed in Spain, Brits being targetted):eek::eek::eek:

Still warm here 72f in but 62f out. Has been humid in the day.


AB; In Spain pickpocketing is a misdemeanor and not taken seriously. My sister had been done twice there. I carried my day's allowance in a diary so not obvious to thieves

Wingo - yes but I have a free OAP bus pass, they give you a food allowance as well so will prob take my own and keep the money. How about that for being MSE?

I've also gave in and put heating on! The kids coats were soaked so needed to dry them off too. There's flooding in Saltburn and Redcar.

Most of them just sent on their way! :eek: Mind, peeps must be more aware re their belongings! I learnt the hard way!!!You had a good idea re diary.

Must admit i was robbed years back on underground when working in London - I was just starting out, young thing and got caught in the classic situation - crowded tube, people (robbers) pushing n shoving, squishing up against me! Had me money, wallet etc stolen from zipped bag - they were off like lightening.:(

Thankfully police looked after me and made sure I got back home safely. Have never forgotten it and now am quite paranoid when travelling with my possessions which is maybe not such a bad thing.:o
