Yes I must admit that my soup maker never went away as we love soup as long as its not tooooo hot and I don't think we have had as much heat generally this Summer as you and Alfie. Slow cooker is also out now as well.

Glad you had a good day Wigo and hope the poorly child is OK, its always a worry when that happens. We came home on Monday night so have been busy busy trying to catch up. It seems a losing battle at the moment though. Got a hard 2 weeks ahead as have to do Jury Service and its a 20 min walk from the bus station with not buses running in that direction. It will be like going back to work :( Are you going to Bingo tonight with your Sister and Mom? If so good luck and hope you win.

Sylvia: Are you looking forward to your Jury Service?

When I did it, I found it hard going as you have to really pay attention.
It was a bit theatrical with the barristers etc.

AB: TB tonight & tmw, lotto tmw. £2 SC yet to scratch off. (only risking a fiver!)

    Hi everyone :)

It hasn't stopped raining here all day :(
    And I didn't do the ironing :o

I have been cleaning though :j

and watching sport on TV :o

sheils and wingo, I don't go till next Saturday but like to have everything washed and ironed and ready to pack on Friday without too much last minute hassle.

Well done on the voucher win sheils :j
wingo - with a bit of luck the red card might be for a win you didn't know about :j

fire**fly - that curry recipe sounds lovely :T
I'll give that a try one day. We've got turkey curry tonight. I made it with some of the breast fillets that I had got reduced in the Co-Op a couple of weeks ago :o
I made it yesterday so nice and easy, just have to put the naan bread in the oven :j

ILC - I thought I was guilty of getting easily distracted when I'm shopping, but going for a grill and coming back with a phone takes some beating  :D

Sylv - I've never done jury service but my Dad did years ago. I remember asking him what the case was and he said he wasn't allowed to tell me until it was over:eek:
I think it was something quite mundane as it turned out but I was imagining all sorts when he wouldn't tell me :o

Fingers crossed for Euro millions tonight.

I hope you all have a great evening :)
