nice n bright here again this morning,
hope it brightens up for you sheils & walwin x
I could hear a strange noise when out feeding the squirrels & there on the back of the lawns was a green spotted woodpecker ! never seen one so close up before & it didn't seem at all fazed by me standing there,
just kept calling away & pecking at the grass edge to get the ants. lovely sight x

hope you get some rain tomorrow alfie :A:D
hard work keeping the runner beans moist in this weather :eek:

Good morning, a bit dull here at the moment, Alfie I think you are keeping the hot weather to yourself again! I thought for a minute you said you were going to "mop the floor" but then I noticed it said "mop your brow" :rotfl::rotfl:

I have a day planned much the same as your Sheils, ironing, hoovering etc.

How lovely firefly to see a green spotted woodpecker, shame you hadn't got your camera with you.

Lovely to see Woodpeckers FF. Have seen me looking for them everywhere in the woods when I hear them. Saw some at Threave Gardens from a hide at the beginning of the summer.



Still dull here too Sylvia although it is supposed to brighten up in the afternoon.

Have got all the Mag Dailies done although did miss some out that I had been doing as there are just too many.
Postman brought the new memory card I ordered for the new camera so DH is playing about with camera now. Good idea mind you as we took a Samsung one away with us as soon as we got it and got into loads of bother tying to zoom it properly. Much prefer the Sony ones.
Off to hang the washing out now. Will have to abandon the comps for this morning.

Morning, it's a scorcher her already, but should cool down tomorrow. I did the early shift today and that's me finished till tomorrow.Hope you all have a lucky day.

Hi everyone.

Completely off topic I know, but have any of you had a very good friend just dump you for no apparent reason and cut off contact?? It's happened to me this last couple of weeks and I just feel awful. I don't know why, don't think I did anything but I've been completely cut out. Just wondered if it's anything that anyone else has come across??

Sorry to hear you have lost a friend Softpad. There are all sorts of reasons why people do these things, may be there are family situations that you are not aware of that have made them withdraw from friends. Maybe drop them a line if you have their address. Sorry can't be of more help.

Hi Sheils the sun has come out here as well now after a very dull start. Washing now on the line and another lot in the washer.

Have won a bottle of Maple Syrup from the Magic Post Box Daily comp. Won a recipe book from them last time but it never came so don't hold out much hope.

Well done for winning the maple syrup. I won the recipe thing and did receive it but it was about a 10 page leaflet that I ended up putting in the recycling if that's any consolation :rotfl:
