Good Morning,

Hope it will stay dry today as I have loads of washing to do. DS2 arrived last night and he has a mountain of stuff too as he has been in London for a farewell party with a load of pals. There was confusion over the date as DS meant it to be this coming weekend just before he flies to Oz but his best pal planned it for last weekend.
Common sense and young guys just doesn't go together.
Hope everyone has a lucky last few days of August.

Walwin, what have I told you about washing windows in the summer! I'm sure them birds sit in the trees waiting till we finish washing the windows so they can poop in them again!

Hi everyone, just a quick pop in. We had a safe journey down here yesterday, weather is a bit drab and hope it clears up soon.

We are hoping to go to Whitby on Friday if DD manages to get her work done.

Lovely pics Sheils thanks for sharing, like Wingo I thought it would be an actual tree. Looks really interesting. Hope you get all the washing done.

Morning all, safely home again and had great fun last night going through all my winnings from the past 4 months

Son in law picked us up from Prestwick and brought the 3 file boxes full of prizes with him :eek: Lots of lovely stuff, loads of books and a mountain of junk mail too.

Was funny waking up to grey skies for a change but at least it is dry and by all accounts the UK and even Scotland had a good summer for once.

Had another Goodreads WEM this morning and a visit from postie (did enjoy that-have missed postie ) with, yes, another book win I knew about.
