    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    Hi everyone,

We have had the same as you Walwin, started frosty/sunny and then wet/windy.

Funny day for us, we went shopping this morning and on the way back there was this noise when I braked. Went to the garage they said I needed new brake pads/disc and 2 new tyres at £221. We had a car full of stuff, so carried the frozen/dairy home. Got soaked fetching it back.

Also coach people rang to say they had got the date wrong for the Christmas fair in York and wanted to change it to next week which is no good as we have Uncles funeral next week.

Well done on your wins firefly/euro.

I do hope you will feel better soon Rosemac and hope you can get it sorted before Christmas.

Sorry if I have missed anyone, oh yes sorry you have been poorly Alfie and hope you feel better soon.

Need to start and do some comps now as have been out more or less all day.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Hope you get the car fixed soon Sylvia. We have done 21,000 miles in 21 months and our front tyres will soon be needing changed too. DH pleased with that though especially as the back ones are OK. They are big tyres though so last longer than small ones or so I am told.

I have been busy checking out the highest value/most popular comps. Have never done that before but elle put a link on Millies Diary page so thought I would give it a try. Still haven't finished the clickies though so maybe I will now. Trying to make up for all our short breaks by entering plenty.
Been listening to some old Xmas songs - "Fairytale of New York", "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" and a few others :D

  • firefly - all nice and dry and had a lovely chilli for tea with rice. Just need to make or minds up where we are going tomorrow instead of York. Think we will decide when we see what the weather is like.

Sheils - I suppose we can't grumble as this is the first lot of brakes/tryes since we got it 3 years ago.

Its very cold and blustery here tonight.

  • Yes we are a bit disappointed but don't think the weather would be good anyway. We have just left our deposit over until we see another trip. We really wanted to see all the ice displays as they were lovely when we saw them last time we went there at about this time of the year.
