    Good Morning,

Just popped in to wish everyone a lovely Sunday. I see a few peeps won on the Pepsi Comp yesterday so don't forget to enter!
We are off today thanks FF and the weather forecast is pretty good for the next few days. Looking forward to some canal walks and nice meals. It is really part of DHs birthday treats.
Will probably manage to pop in tonight as there is free WIFI in the hotel we are staying in. It is a lovely modern hotel with free breakfast, WIFI and air con and costing less than £34! Sunday nights are always the cheapest in non touristy places and I used a great code for 35% off ;) Not so fancy tomorrow night at a ££29 Premier Inn but it is right beside a canal which will be nice but nothing will be free there.
Have finished the dailies as won't get doing them while we are away.
Heading off after 10am as DH popping down the town to watch a Vintage Car Rally heading off.

F**F Pepsi is a needle in a haystack job:eek: Hard to know when to dig in!

Rainy night here! Meow admitted defeat and called it a night:eek: No night on the tiles:eek:

The weather looks to warm up again but my 2 apps have a few degrees between them.

Tried poached eggs in a pan of water, ok but yolks were set. My late friend timed the eggs perfectly so the yolks were still runny.

    Morning :)

Loving all the pics Inners - ILC's combined wine bottle/wine glass def appealed!! :D:rotfl::rotfl:

Not sure what the weather is going to be like here through day - seems to be a bit of a mixture at the mo - cloudy, breezy, tiny bit of blue sky - splash of rain may be on the way thinks.

Have a good time sheils - sounds like it is going to be lovely, paws crossed you get good weather.

ff - me beans are still upright this morn but blackfly blighters are on one of them  Will have to get me water squirty thing out and blast them off ......... could do with ladybirds now, they would have a lovely feast! :D

Have a great day all xxxxxxxx

Just seen your post ILC - I always get disappointed with my dismal cooking skills re poached/fried eggs - hate it when the yolk goes hard. My son-in-law manages the perfect poached egg and me son manages the perfect fried egg ...... then there's me .......... rubber egg queen lol!! xxx

was just thinking I've been entering female first comps since about 2005 & never ever won on them :rotfl:
& can't remember seeing any winners for them for years either
we're having boiled eggs this morning :j

glad the wigwams up safe still alfie :j
there's been some very strong winds here
yes, you'll have to squirty the b/fly off the beans:D
this weather breeds the pesky things
we had lots of ladybirds the other month but haven't seen many past few weeks, not sure where they've disappeared to :(

throwing it down here now
& I've got to go out to neighbours round the other side to feed her cat & let it out as she's away for a few days
somehow don't think the cat will go out with this rain

SC has scalped me of £2

Got an unusual set of numbers on my Lotto Ticket so if the numbers come out in a whacky way I'll be in the money   :T:beer: ;) :rotfl:  :A :T :j

Timing is crucial with gardening. Once I put my French dwarf beans out a week too early, we had almighty storms and the crop yield was about one bean each, all summer:eek:

You can buy these ^ anybody remember the disastrous egg cooker on Dragon's Den?

I dry fry my eggs so can't flick over anything to help cook the yolk, so mostly turn them over. Boiled eggs are a bit hit n miss. Depends when you start the timer as they can be runny to firm. (I have a student veggie cookbook for timings as forget!)

Ooooh! Good luck with the whacky numbers!!! We will all be round to yours then for a knees up! :D:rotfl::rotfl: :T:T

Tenner win for me so have invested a bit on euro and wed L and TB, paws crossed for us. :D

Don't understand how me son-in-law and son perfectly cook the eggs cos they don't use timers - they just seem to know and hook them out at just the right time. Rubber egg queen alfie here uses timer and they all go pear shaped!!!

Good luck ff with yon neighbours cat!:D Not good weather for our feline pals - even the local basher toms were no where to be seen last night - guess it's not much fun having night on tiles when the rain is lashing down! :D

Darkish here now and just about to tip it down - squirting of bean plants can wait a while! :D xxxxx
