The Comper's Inn part 42

When we have nibbles, I put half in each bowl as otherwise he has eaten them all before I have even had two or three! Mine last for days. I wonder if anyone else has a hubby like that!
Put it this way, if OH opens a pack of biccies, he wolves down all but 2 (or 3 if I'm really lucky) and then hands what's left to me saying 'take them away from me before I finish them!' :rotfl: If it's Jaffa cakes, I don't get a look in! :rotfl:
Afternoon all!
My festive coffee has arrived already! Super quick of them! So I told OH he can open it and start on them already
I won a free Koppaberg drink from Revolution! Woo! lol Not sure if I'll count that as I'm unlikely to actually claim it. Nearest bar is in Brighton, which is a bit of a trek.
Congrats on any wins in the Inn. And I'm glad your Hudl has arrived Shiels!

The only thing postie brought me today was a letter from Scottish Power telling me our electricity prices are increasing, as though I didn't know anyway
It's been cold all day here and started raining later on, but at least I was home from hairdressers and had got some good bargains in Co-Op :j
fire**fly - well done on getting the cubby hole sorted out :T
I always start jobs like that full of enthusiasm and then get less and less enthusiastic the longer it goes on
Have a lovely evening everyone0 -
Well done to all the winners today. Think I must be being especially dim but what exactly did you win Sylvia?
Great you are looking after the baby hedgehog softpad. Twice I have stood and stopped the traffic on our street to let some get across the road.
Hate tidying FF - I have two rooms full of the older boys' stuff.
Good news on the Hudl - DD loves it and wants one for Xmas. Just hope Tesco gets the 100 prizes sent out before Xmas! She has hijacked mine at the moment to play Blinkbox mucic or something like that.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Lovely news on the Hudls everyone who has one they look like a great little tablet.
Had to spend a lot of time with Hoggie today as he is only a baby and missing his mum, he's one of those who seems to need a lot of attention and cuddles to get him to eat bizarrely. He is so adorable when he tries to burrow up my sleeve. He will get aggressive and unfriendly when he's a 'teenager' so quite safe but he is quite hard to feed. He's been eating my scrambled eggs and I'm only getting about two a week hey ho.
Am I the only one who hates fireworks? I really would prefer if they were banned and only at official displays, I worry so much about the wild animals and birds not to mention the pets and they seem to go on for far too long - maybe I am just a humbug eh?
I need a really big sort out and am having a go tomorrow so catching up on comping tonight or trying to. Giving a load of books I have won to charity this week as I am building up quite a library!MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0 -
Sheils - its a water filter jug. Another Christmas present solved as my DD1 will like it.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

The problems with fireworks here is that official displays are so far away softpad. our town ones stopped about 20 years ago and the Rotary Club used to do one 10 miles away but the insurance got too high and they were stopped. There used to be a pay one 30 miles away and a free one 50 miles away (which is one of the best in UK) but we haven't managed to go to either of them this year.
They have them here for the tourists at the end of August for the "Tattoo" and that is our lot.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Well done Sylvia - nice to win some prezzies. DD picked a case/stand for a Hudl from Amazon and I still had vouchers left from a win so that was good tooMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
