Glad your wrist is healing nicely euro xx
Well done on your win dontone and glad you've sorted out your sky.My Internet keeps going off as well as tv too strangely enough!
Sylvia..fantastic win, well done! :T :j
I've warmed up now but the weather has got really chilly today. I've been told I'm going swimming again tomorrow(groan)
Edit....yay, well done euro! :j I haven't heard of many more winners on that comp. I'm still waiting on my win from them but someone else has had theirs who won after me.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Thanks Wingo. Maybe that means you're getting one of the better prizes available? Fingers crossed for you
ETA: Dontone - hope all goes smoothly with the switch. We left Sky earlier this year too. We had broadband but weren't even receiving 1MB/s download speed, when we were supposed to be receiving 10-15MB/s. Complained 3 separate times, nothing done by Sky. Switched to BT fibre optic and for TV too (cheaper) and am in love with it! get 60-70MB/s download speed now and get all the TV channels we need for much cheaper!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hi everyone,
I am back and trying to get caught up on a few things - mainly chatting which won't surprise most of you!
Some lovely wins in here - well done to all the winners especially ILC that is fantastic. Euro I saw my jelly bean sweet prize for a few minutes before DD and her pal had them away with them. (don't really like jelly sweets anyway)
I had a lovely time away especially yesterday and today when the weather was bright and sunny and not too cold for October. Spent all day yesterday at St. Andrews and came back along the Fife coast today to the Forth road Bridge which was beautiful. Elle if the weather is good when you go try and come back that way it is well worth it. We stopped at Dysart Harbour had a walk along the Fife Coastal Park to Kirkcaldy and visited Ravenscraig Castle and went to Burntisland which has a lovely beach too. Scenery was wonderful. Going to that area again next year. Here is a link to a few pics if anyone wants a nosey.

Glad you enjoyed your further adventures Sheils...
Euro well done bagging the jelly beano in the end and your hand improving.
Chilly tonight.... Put the heating on for an hour to accelerate drying of washing. (can't stand slow drying washing)
Thought Meow was out but had sneaked beside the radiator
Blood pressure check tmw, all I need is another big or bigger win to send it sky high. If ITV were to ring before I go, it'll go off the scale!!:eek::eek:
Don't whether made the right choice of distance and reading or should have gone for bi-focal or vari-focal. So hard cos stuck with em once ordered.0 -
Thanks ILC. Keeping my fingers crossed for you on that one too.
Wish I could help with the glasses. Do your opticians offer any bi-focals that you can try out, to see if you get on with them?February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Thanks...
They just showed me vision zones (on screen) between the two.
I was losing the will to live (nearly an hour in) so just took a couple of pairs, thought that was that and then there was all the adjustments :eek: (they were taking it all serious and I was chuckling! How are you suppose to sit still when you have to look into screens and air puffed into your eyes!! )
A friend of mine would put one pair of glasses on top of the other. (WTG?)0
