T'internet update (in case anyone is interested ;) )
sky have told us that the major fault MIGHT be repaired on thursday, which is too late, as due to us having to chase them all the time, the rather lame excuses and BT not telling Sky anything, we are having Virgin Media fitted tomorrow - and DH even remembered to get cashback ;):rotfl:
Hopefully it'll work out all fine & dandy with them, only downside is we have to have a new phone number, but at least we'll be somewhat back to normal and not have to pay for any more dongle usage and not have to listen to anymore rubbish about 'waiting for a part' and 'BT haven't told us anything'
It's all been a bit pants, considering we have never had a problem with Sky until all this happened. shame really, but at least we'll get BT sports with the package and it works out cheaper for about 6 months.
Oh and I won a t-shirt today, so today hasn't been too bad ;)
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

  • Hiya, just had a thought- you know on postal comps where there is a more expensive text route, is it ok to do both or send more than one postal entry?

It's just there's a comp I'd love to win and wondered if I could send a few postal votes in :)

Just had a WEM saying i had won earlings £49.99

    http://www.leadingjewels.co.uk/competition/.

I read a post on the Chat corner explaining rafflecopter in very good detail so thought I would give some of them a go and so I am really pleased to have my first Rafflecopter win.

However, I cant find the OP of the comp or the poster of the explanation and I would really like to thank them. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

euro - I hope that your hospital app goes well and that you get the all clear on your wrist.

Wingo - Are you feeling a bit warmer now. I am a bit of a wuss about getting into a cold swimming pool. Glad you are enjoying your job though.

dontone - glad you are getting your internet sorted at last by changing providers. We used to have sky and there was always an argument as to who's problem is was so I stick to BT now and seem to be doing OK. Hope it all goes well for you.

Dontone - well done on t-shirt and new option/cashback. Hopefully Sky won't collar you for another month.

Slyvia - well done on rafflecopter win

Wingo/Sylv - I've been in a lido and that's brrr cold. Hydro pool too hot. Public baths would vary in temps.

Thanks peeps. Hospital took ages as consultant was stuck in surgery with a 'difficult' (oo - er), case. But wrist all fine, cut healing nicely. Just need to keep it dry for next 24 hours. Supposed to let air get to it but had to cover it again as about to have a soak in the tub. :)

Well done on the wins this afternoon, you lucky lot! :) xx
